I'm really intrigued by the really small things that we half see. Often I find scale brings a very strange feeling to the ordinary elements of life. The macro photography of snow flakes or wristwatch mechanics. The things which the human eye sees some of but doesn't fully see. I've always been curious about the small people in comic book scenes. Sometimes it's the hero dwarfed by their environment or sometimes random families saved by a superhero. They are half detailed, half drawn. Just the basics captured. I think this creates a very special kind of aesthetic which I'm particularly drawn to.

Here I've simply found some I liked and presented them. Some brutal cropping taking place. Without the context of their original state these characters are simply on their own, caught in a purgatory state of serving no one but the composition.
